 Rachele Fisher

Rachele Fisher is a former middle school and high school Latin teacher with degrees in Classics, Greek and Latin. She has archaeology experience with studies in Israel, Egypt and Jordan. Rachele had seen many heartbreaking sights of animal cruelty and neglect while living in various states and traveling abroad. The unbearable helpless feeling of seeing a little fellow suffer and having no control to help it has led her to become a supporter of rescue and humane groups. Leaving behind her teaching career, she began creating adorable "puppy doll" houses for small dogs. Since 2005, she has worked at developing Studio D-og where she has combined her love of art and her love for dogs. The online boutique showcases one of a kind and custom dog beds that are designed to look like doll/dog houses.

While living and teaching in Orange County California, Rachele adopted a precious little boy dog named Angel Gabriel. He was a 4 pound one year old who was neglected and left outside to fend for his life against coyotes, bobcats and owls. Finally, the owner offered him to Rachele and in an instant that little dog's life changed. He loves his new life of luxury, boy clothes and his own comforter. Angel loves anything that makes him special. He has developed an adorable, comical personality which has inspired Rachele to begin creating everything from harnesses to houses. Angel likes to be in something like a den. In his previous life his outdoor dog house gave him a sense of security from preditors. Since Rachele's fastidious decorating sense could give no place to an ugly plastic dog house in the corner, she decided to make a cute little house for Angel. For the first few months of Angel's new life, the two would enjoy walking along the beach every evening. The beauty of the ocean, beach and palm trees became the inspiration for the "The Dog Beach Bungalow".

Angel Gabriel, his Mom and older sister, Dolly Sue, have moved to Oklahoma where they are spending their days creating fun little bed/den homes and other luxuries to spoil other babies too. Angel had to live outside in an old plastic dome house for the first year of his life, but, now he has his own beautiful house indoors!
